Brent shall use Your Information collected in accordance with Clause 1 of the Privacy Policy for the following purposes:
a) To provide our products and Services to you and all acts incidental to the same
b) Operating and/or improving our Platform and our products and Services and all acts incidental to the same
c) To communicate with you regarding existing product and Services availed by you including notifications, alerts,
updates or surveys
d) To send you information about other product and Services which may be of interest to you (you may always opt out
of such communication by informing us in writing that you are not interested in receiving such communications)
e) To handle enquiries and complaints
f) To comply with legal and regulatory requirements and to protect our legal rights

situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person

These aggregated databases of anonymised data allows us to generate helpful insights into patterns or trends with the rental industry. This information is also useful for book sellers as it enables them to identify new books or categories that are in demand and ensure they are selling them at competitive rates. For example, we can use search data to monitor demand for books and make sure that the fares that our users surface are legitimate.
Such information shall be strictly used for the aforesaid specified & lawful purpose only. We will always redact all/any sensitive & confidential information submitted for the purpose of availing a service, promotional offer or booking a product on the Website/App. In case you do not wish to provide this information or opt for deletion of the information already provided, we may not be able to process the desired request. We will never share any of the above information collected without their prior consent unless otherwise such action is required by any law enforcement authority for investigation, by court order or in reference to any legal process.
In our processing of your information, we also share your personal information to defend our rights and the rights of others, to efficiently maintain our business, and to comply with the law.
3. Storage of Information
Brent shall store Your Information collected in accordance with Clause 1 of the Privacy Policy for the duration necessary to fulfil the purposes described in Clause 2.
The collecting agency in respect of Your Information is AWS.
4. Consent
By accessing and/or using our Platform and/or the Services, you represent that you have read, understood and are bound by the Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy, and that you consent to Your information and data being collected, stored and used in the manner laid out in this Privacy Policy. We will request your permission to use or share your personal information for a specific purpose that is not compatible with the purposes listed in Clause 5. We will notify you and request for consent before you provide the personal information or before the personal information you have already provided is shared for such purpose. With you consent, we may also share your quotes and
reviews for promotional purposes. If we rely on your consent to use or share your information, your consent may be revoked at any time by contacting us at brentcollaborator@brent.com.

We share your information with our service providers, among our entities, in connection with a corporate restructuring, to prevent harm, to comply with the law, for marketing and advertisement purposes, and to protect our legal rights. Once you choose to withdraw consent for subsequent use of your personal data by Brent, you will not be able to avail our products and Services or retrieve any of the content you have may have shared with us.
If you contact us for any of the aforesaid reasons, we may keep a record of that correspondence for our internal reference and archival purposes. We will not retain a record of that correspondence for longer than is reasonably necessary.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain personal information until the later of (i) the information is no longer necessary to accomplish the purpose for which it was provided, (ii) there is no ongoing business reason to keep the information, or (iii) until you request that your account be deleted.
We retain your information for longer periods for specific purposes to the extent that we are obliged to do so in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and/or as necessary to protect our legal rights or for certain business requirements. For example, when we process your payments, we will retain this data for longer periods of time as required for tax or accounting purposes. However, Brent will not be responsible for any misuse of Your Information by such third-parties and partners. Brent does not sell or rent Your Information to any third party. Brent also does not disclose or transfer Your Information to any other third parties without your consent, unless such disclosure or transfer is:

However, since complete security cannot be ensured by any entity, please note that Brent does not guarantee the security of Your Information. In the event that Brent becomes aware of any breach of security such that it affects Your Information, Brent shall notify you using commercially reasonable efforts. However, as detailed in Clause 10 of this Privacy Policy, you should look at this Privacy Policy regularly to check for such changes.
Brent claims no responsibility for the security of any third-party links, websites or resources that you may access through or in connection with our Platform and/or the Services.
10. Third Party Websites and Applications
Our Services may include and link to features and services (such as social applications like Google, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter and payment gateways) that are provided by a third party. If you use these features and services, please understand that the third parties that operate them may collect information from you which will be used in accordance with their own privacy policy and terms of use, which may differ from ours.
We share information relating to our users with selected third parties who provide us with a variety of different services that support the delivery of our services. These third party processors range from providers of technical infrastructure to customer service and authentication tools. We require any third party processor which handles information on our behalf to do so pursuant to contractual terms which require that the information is kept secure, is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, and used only as we have instructed and not for the third party processor’s own purposes (unless you have explicitly consented to them doing so).

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We retain the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, for instance when we update the functionality of our Services or when there are regulatory changes.
